  • Akshar Brahman : is the reality of universal consciousness that pervades all the forms of limited consciousness in the universe. The Upanishads speak of Akshar Brahman as the great fire of consciousness from which infinite kinds of universe rise and fall like sparks.

  • Anath-Ashram : an orphanage.

  • Aurangzeb : a cruel Mughal king who ruled India for many years.

  • Brahma : is the lord of the cosmos.

  • Braj : a place in Northern India where Lord Krisha spent His childhood. It is also the place where Lord Krishna did Raas Lila.

  • Darshan : viewing, experience of initiation, contact with God - consciousness, experience of inner awakening.

  • Gopis (Gopiyo) : are the divine souls who came to the earth to see the drama of human life and its miseries.

  • Indravati : she is the unique soul of the Abode of the Lord. It is believed that she appeared in the world as Mahamati Prannath.

  • Kans : is the matternal uncle of Lord Krishna.

  • Kshara : means that which is changing. Our whole cosmic creation is called "Kshara" by the Gita, because everything of this creation is changing and perishable.

  • Mahamati : is the Supreme Divine Wisdom.

  • Maharaja : a great king.

  • Mandir : temple.

  • Paramdham : is the Supreme Heaven. God is gifted with infinite essences like waves of an ocean. The essences are the mirror of the existence of God, which is called "Paramdham" by Mahamati Prannath.

  • Prannath : Literally the Supreme Master, the Lord. Devchandra calls Krishna as the Prannath. The same power incarnated in Mehraj Thakur (Mahamati Prannath, the founder of the cult). The followers of this cult call Mehraj Thakur by the name of Prannath. Mahamati Prannath incorporated the intelligence, zeal, and will of the Lord in him.

  • Puri : Dham / a place of pilgrimage.

  • Raas Lila : is a spiritual phenomenon of divine ecstasy which the divine souls have had in the company of Krishna five thousand years ago. The term "Raas" means (in Sanskrit) a kind of bliss-consciousness that one may obtain by reading literature, by playing games, by dancing and singing, and by other sensuous pursuits.

  • Sunder Sath : the community of blessed and selected souls of the Abode of the Lord. They are the very part and parcel and form of the Lord. Their service is the service of the God.

  • Tartam : Spiritual knowledge. It is that key which unfolds the deep meanings of different scriptures. It awakens the soul in the Abode of the Lord.
